Club AGM and Social Weekend

This years AGM is a bit earlier to avoid clashing with the Queens Jubilee and the Olympics - so it is now time to make your room booking for the AGM - no need to spend money at the moment as we will pay in May - just get your booking in NOW by ringing the Hotel and quoting  - Honda S800 Sports Car Club.

Looking ahead to this years events...

The North West usually head off on a jaunt to a scenic part of the country and in the past three years we have been to Pickering in Yorkshire (twice) and this year to Abersoch in North Wales.

Our 2012 jaunt details will be posted here as soon as they are known but we also need to know what other areas are planning.

The 2012 AGM is heading to a new location for the Club - the North Midlands area. The chosen Hotel venue is close to the M6 and the M54 as well as numerous A roads making it easy to find. The venue is reasonably central to the country and we hope this will encourage a good turn out of our membership.
We appreciate that the economic doom and gloom is still with us so we have a recession busting deal for you with a great price on the rooms and FREE entry to the Saturday afternoon venue!

24th - 26th February 2012 Race Retro Show at Stoneleigh Park, Stoneleigh, Nr Coventry. Honda is to be celebrated at the show.
15th April 2012 Cirencester Car Club - Corinium Run. An economy run based in the Cotswold which attracts over 90 entries each year and is always full. Regulations have now been published. More details click here.
22nd April 2012 Drive It Day promoted by the FBHVC. We are members of the FBHVC (Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs - please note this refers to British Clubs not British Cars).

7th May 2012 Gawsworth Hall Classic Car Show, Gawsworth, Nr Macclesfield, Cheshire. Turn up on the day and pay the entry fee of £3.50 on the gate. Best to advise the Hall beforehand if you are going. A great setting and some fabulous cars.

26th - 27th May 2012 Crystal Palace Sprint Meeting. In 2011 a Club stand was organised for the "Old Hondas Club UK" at the Crystal Palace sprint consisting of first generation Honda's. We have been invited back for 2012 and will be celebrating the 40th year of the Honda Civic & hopefully there will be a number of 70's Civics competing in the sprint. If you want to join in or display your classic Honda ( Civic / S800 / N600 / Z600 ) please look at the Events page on the Message Board for more details. Some Club members have already expressed an interest.
